Vocbattle — Privacy & Rules

1. Privacy policy

Data we process

Account: username, e-mail, password (stored encrypted — never readable by us).
Profile: bio, mascot, language, public or private profile.
Game: ranking, points, wins, matches played, your votes.
Live battles & replays: your audio and video are transmitted in real time to your opponent and to spectators, and recorded in order to create a replay that can be watched in the app. By taking part in a battle, you consent to this recording and to its broadcast within the app.
Notifications: a technical token from your device, used to send you game alerts.

Why

Solely to run the service: account, player matchmaking, ranking, notifications and moderation. Your data is never sold.

Where & for how long

Hosted on a server located in the European Union (Germany). Your data is kept for as long as your account exists and erased when you delete your account. Video replays are not kept indefinitely: they are stored for a limited time (about 30 days) and then deleted automatically.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. For any request: contact@vocbattle.com.

Deleting your account and your data

You can delete your Vocbattle account and all associated data at any time, in two ways:

From the app or the website: open your Profile → tap « Delete my account » → confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
By e-mail: write to contact@vocbattle.com from the address linked to your account; we process the request within 30 days.

What is deleted: your account, your username, your e-mail, your profile photo, your messages, your votes, your likes and your battle history. What is kept: the video replays you took part in may remain visible until their automatic deletion (about 30 days after the battle), and some data may be kept longer only where the law requires it (e.g. a judicial request relating to reported illegal content). No data is sold or shared for advertising purposes.

Age

The service is restricted to people aged 16 and over. By creating an account, you declare that you are at least 16 years old.

Child safety standards — fighting child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSAE)

Vocbattle applies zero tolerance towards child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSAE), including any sexual content, behaviour or solicitation involving a minor. Such content is strictly forbidden and has no place on the service.

Service restricted to ages 16 and over. Vocbattle is not intended for children and does not target an audience of children.
Absolute prohibition: any content showing, describing, encouraging or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a minor (CSAM), as well as any attempt to contact, solicit (« grooming ») or endanger a minor.
In-app reporting: every battle, message and profile has a report button, and every user can be blocked. A content filter and human moderation (admin review) complete the system.
Actions: any content or account breaking these rules is removed and the account suspended or banned. Serious illegal content is placed under legal hold (evidence preserved) with a view to reporting it.
Cooperation with authorities: we comply with applicable laws and report child sexual abuse material to the competent regional and national authorities (in France, notably via PHAROS), as well as to specialised organisations where appropriate.

2. Community rules (Terms of Use)

Zero tolerance: Vocbattle does not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior. Every reported content is reviewed and, if it breaks these rules, removed within 24 hours at most; its author may be permanently excluded from the service.

Respect others: no hate, harassment or threats, no illegal, sexual or shocking content.
By taking part in a battle, you accept that your audio/video will be seen, heard and recorded for the live stream and then for the replay broadcast in the app.
Play fair: no cheating, no vote manipulation, no multiple accounts.
In case of abuse: warning, suspension or ban of the account.
Remove a video you appear in: "Request removal" button on the replay (participants only) or contact@vocbattle.com · handled within 30 days at most, immediate removal if both participants request it. Deleting your account automatically unpublishes your replays; your opponent's scores are kept.
The service is provided « as is » during the launch phase and may evolve.

By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and that you are at least 16 years old.
